Villa Los Mangles Boutique Hotel - Isla Holbox

Our stay was quite enjoyable, with a lovely private atmosphere. Christina was an absolute delight, always ready to help and. The location is ideal-just a short walk to the beach and the center of town. Despite a few minor hiccups with the shower head, the air conditioning worked great and provided a much-needed reprieve from the heat. It was overall a great value for a quick getaway!

This place was comfortable in general with a very very helpful staff team. The location was tranquil and absolutely perfect, in a nice quiet area, convenient to go everywhere. Besides, it was really close to shops and restaurants, a tropical getaway in a beautiful location and beach and center.

charming stay with a local touch

Our time at Villa Los Mangles was enchanting. From the spacious kitchen in our suite to the lovely rooftop terrace, we felt right at home. Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast outside, with a fine view of the garden. The beach was less than three minutes away, and it quickly became our favorite spot on the island.

The outdoor terrace area was charming and relaxing.

Upon arrival, I was shocked that they only accepted cash, with no prior warning about this inconvenient payment option. But the worst was yet to come. Late at night, the person in charge knocked on my door repeatedly, demanding payment before I had even had a chance to visit an ATM. This disrespectful treatment completely ruined my stay.

We didn't want to leave and would absolutely stay here again, really enjoyed the hotel. The venue was beautifully decorated with tranquil and absolutely perfect location in a quiet part of town. The staff were helpful and amicable, made our stay just perfect. Location: the hotel was close enough to the beach and town, and the city center which is 15min walking distance.

The desserts here are to die for! We stumbled upon some local gems for dining nearby, like Piedrasanta Holbox and Raices Beach Club. Their outdoor dining and beach vibes elevated our experience. Plus, Cristina's hospitality.

The only bummer was that we couldn't have stayed longer!

The cash-only policy here is shocking, imagine my surprise! The flooding outside made my 'exquisite' arrival so good, I almost drowned. A complimentary gesture would have been nice, but I guess they save those for someone else. So much for a luxury boutique stay. I really wanted to give a rave review. But just couldn't!

The beautiful grounds, the cozy ambiance, the well-equipped kitchenette was good.

What a fine place! Our suite was super comfy, with amazing views from the rooftop-that's a sunset for your Insta feed! Plus, the nearby beach is just a hop away.

The only catch? I had to dodge a few mosquitoes like a ninja! Let's just say my wallet wasn't thrilled with the cash-only policy.
